Room signs are the end of the wayfinding trail. They are essential to a complete sign system. Room signs can be used for patient rooms, offices, tenant signs, utility rooms, etc. They can be as simple as a panel with copy, or as creative as your and our imaginations want them to be.

As you step off an elevator or round the corridor hallway, secondary directories keep you moving in the right directions. Secondary directories are the adhesive between point A and point B; they are integral to any wayfinding environment.

First time or infrequent visitors to your facility may have a tough time figuring out where they are headed. An orderly, succinct, and comprehensible main directory is the first step in assisting non-personnel to their destination. When used in conjunction with effective secondary directories and room signs, the main directory becomes the switchboard of your wayfinding package.

As your facility expands or your staff changes, your wayfinding system should not become outdated. The Panel-X System is designed to be a flexible and dynamic system that grows with it's environment. Most updates are easy enough for maintenance personnel to handle, thus maximizing the speed with which changes to the complex are facilitated.

The Panel-X Sign and Directory System is designed to minimize the amount of exposure your wayfinding system receives to such influences as vandalism or unauthorized changes by personnel. While no sign system is 100% impervious to a determined individual, extensive measures are taken to protect the integrity of the Panel-X System. Tamper resistant mounting hardware on the side rails holds a non-glare acrylic face panel in place, thus preventing visitors from tampering with the graphics, or removing the panels themselves. The system can only be altered using a special tool, handled by authorized personnel alone.
